We are delighted to be back and putting on our second Opie's Beard Co Beard and Moustache Championships as part of the Loddon Brewery Beer & Beard Festival on Saturday 25th May 2024 The event will have live music, Charity raffle, Trade stall, street food and of course some awesome beers.

About the event
We welcome you to the Opie's Beard Co Beard and Moustache Championships 2024 being held once again at Loddon Brewery and as part of the Beer & Beard Festival.
The festival will include

With catergories to cater for beards and moustaches of all sizes there's no reason not to get involved in this awesome event.
Registration for the event will be between 10:30am-12pm with catergories being asked up on stage from 1pm. The Beard and Moustache championship should be finished by around 6pm with live music and after party following the event.
Please note tickets may be available on the doors on the day of the event but may be charged at a higher rate than pre-booking.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations must be made via email with full ticket details stated, we can refund the ticket prices but our booking fee is non refundable. We cannot refund under any circumstances any orders 48 hours prior to the event, we cannot offer exchanges or credit notes for orders cancelled.
Refunds that are processed should see the money arrive in your bank/paypal account within 7-10 working days, we cannot give cash refunds and the money can only can refunded into the account which the payment was made from.

Freestyle Beard
Free design and styling of the beard. All beards not meeting the criteria for other categories may compete in this category. Styling aids permitted Please note that unlike other categories outfits will also play a part in how you are judged and will be added to your final score. Styling aids permitted. Partial Beard and Sideburns
Partial beards that are not joined. Such partial beards not meeting the criteria for other categories may compete in this category. An area at least 4 cm wide (the width of a razor blade) between the temple and the goatee must be clean shaven. Or areas at least 4 cm wide (the width of a razor blade) on the chin and/or upper lip and between the temple and the goatee must be clean shaven. Beardy Couples
This is a new category and is for couples to compete together as a team. Please note only one ticket is needed per couple but please list both names when purchasing your ticket. Any couples can enter this category and compete with whatever beard they would compete with in their prospective singles category. Judges will judge this category on both beards as well as the couples stage presence.

Ladies Creative Beard
This category is for you creative folks out there to create your own "fake" beard using whatever you can get your hands on. Females only permitted to enter this category Beards will be judged on originality, craftsmanship, style and flair.

Kids Creative Beard
This category is for the little creatives out there to create your own "fake" beard using whatever you can get your hands on. Full Beard Over 11" this category is for natural beards with styled or natural moustache. Moustache styling aids permitted. The beard must be over eleven inches in length. Adult Spectator
This ticket is for entry to the event only and does not include entry to the competition. If you wish to upgrade from a spectator to a competition ticket then please go to the multiple category section and upgrade. This ticket is for individuals ages 16 and above. Any spectators under the age of 16 can get in for free on a child's spectator ticket

Multiple category allows you to compete in an extra category for half the cost. Please note that this ticket must be purchased along side a full priced entry ticket and must be used by the same competitor. This category is for the best styled moustache only. We will not allow beards of any kind to join this category. only styled moustaches of any style will be judged.
